The new 'Art Space' in the Municipal Garden's is hosting an 'Opera-themed' season of local artists' works in honour of the restoration.

The restoration of the Opera House was undertaken by Council as part of the Ipskay Innovation program, and the newly refurbished building was opened by the Minister for the Arts on the anniversary of Dame Flo's birthday last year. Her granddaughter still lives in Ipskay.
